We were exhausted from driving all the way from Toronto. We arrived in the early evening and were immediately put off by the low end look of the property. What a dive ! We quickly learned that the managment was clearly more interested in money then providing a service.. The place smells of mold. Loud and noisy window air conditioners and stained, scratched up furniture are from the 1940s or 50s. Cigarette burn holes in the bedding. Tacky, faded art on the walls hanging crookedly. Dull, gloomy lights in the rooms with exposed, frayed, electrical wires. Hot water that lasts for 3-5 minutes. We asked for our money back but were refused because we were in the room for half an hour. We are quiet, older, people and my husband didn't like fighting with the rude owner who was really nasty. We stayed because we were on a tight budget. Big mistake ! The entire time we were there we felt ill at ease and uncomfortable. One sleepless night was enough. We scrammed asap.
