As stated before, not a good idea. Dirty towel on the floor when I opened the door, trash in the can, the ac had a hard time keeping up with the heat, they had no shampoo anywhere, the pillow case was not changed, it had a perfume smell on it, the sheets were not changed, no alarm clock, like said... more

This hotel is a bad idea, even for one night. Room was musty smelling. Smoke detector was not on. No soap products. Online ad: All rooms features: Microwave, refrigertor, iron & iron board, alarm clock, hair dryer. Their were non of these in the room. Plus I had to leave a $20.00 key deposit. My stay at the York Inn was decent. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. For a budget property, this was pretty good. Everything worked and I would stay again. This place is being obviously renovated in areas but the price was right and the beds were comfortable. more

The conditions of this hotel are appalling as the buildings are victim of neglect. The rooms reek of mildew and the sheets appeared to have bug feces in them. Dresser drawers full of garbage...No trash can in room...TV did not work...Used bar of soap (with hair attached) on tub...Smoke detector hanging by wires from ceiling...Curtains half off curtain rod...Door would not close without slamming several times...We were stupid to stay there, but were exhausted. THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN EXPOSED TO: The bathroom was filthy, there was garbage and crumbs lining a foot in depth from each wall, pieces of the wall falling open to expose... dark cavernous regions of the inner building? We stayed there this past November. It was filthy, the prepaid reservations where non-existant until we kicked up up a big fuss and the rooms were just plain horrible, ie. filthy bathroom, reused towels. cigar butts n floor for 2 days until we finally picked them up. Never again, I'd rather sleep in my car for 3 days. more
