I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kendall Hotel and Suites. I came to Miami in the Kendall area to compete in a triathlon nearby. This hotel was perfect. When we made reservations, we were told a complimentary breakfast was included. AFTER we checked in, we find a letter in the room stating the complimentary breakfast was for only 2 people. I understand you have the option to choose other properties as well, but we have respected the reservation you had. We serve a Full American Breakfast (Scrambled eggs, Breakfast potatoes, Omlets, Bacon, Sausage, Pancakes, Pastries, Fruits, Cereals, Juices) and this breakfast is complimentary for 2 adults, plus the kids under 12 eat free. yes, there is a charge of $9.95...
We were told that this hotel/renovated old apartment building was not going to be disappointing by the reservationist. Bottom line, pics on website deceiving. The outside of the building is worn down. We had to change rooms because the walls were dirty and the stench in the rooms were profoundedly putrid. A/C didn't cool til about 4 in the morning.... more
