Spent the night before our cruise with NCL (wished we would have skipped the cruise). A beautiful European hotel comparable to 4 Seasons properties. Stayed here by necessity before embarking for a trip to South America. It was really very nice -- very modern, nice pool, clean rooms, modern snazzy restaurant. For the price, the accomodations were really pretty darn nice. One caveat is to watch the food/bar prices. I was recently a businsess trip to the Miami area. After one night in South Beach I looked for a convenient location to work from as a hub. I found the Sofitel Hotel near the airport. What a suprise! We went to Miami to spend the last week of 2009. During the first part of our trip we went to the Sofitel Hotel, which is just great. Very nice staff, and very nice and clean rooms. I hightly recommend this hotel. It is nearby Miami's Airport. more

This hotel is a first class place to rest and relax. We use often as as stop over from connecting flights (overnight flights that connect through Miami). The staff is wondeful. The food was good, pricey but good. The beds are fantastic european style that you just sink into.... more

In short, the hotel has very friendly courteous and helpful staff including the porters, check-in and concierge. The rooms are average sized, very clean, nice TV, beds very comfortable, bathrooms clean and well furnished. Nice spaciouslobby, beautiful pool. Safe environment.
