This is nothing like the strip on Collins Ave. This is nothing like the skyscraper neighborhood of the Mandarin or Four Seasons. This resort is good for decompression with Miami and SoBe easily avoided or accessed. It's hard to imagine a more spectacular setting than Fisher Island. The perfectly manicured lawns, exotic birds walking about, white sand beach and stunning harbor. Grounds are beautiful and the service was excellent until the end when we had money stolen from our room. We did not receive so much as an apology or call back with the unfortunate experience. I guess they really didn't care. more
