I stayed at the Traymore hotel in jan of '07. let me try and describe the place: We pull up to the hotel.. the "parking lot" for $15 a night was right in the front of the hotel, about 12 spots total, which was not a problem because I think there was one other person in the entire hotel! It... more

We stayed for 3 days in Jan, hotel staff were fine but we really didn't call upon them for anything. When we got to our room it was right next to the run down elevator so I thought it would be noisy but it was fine. The ice machine was still broken, probably safe to say it will never be... more

For your own safety DO NOT stay here. Old building with NO security and lack of concern or care for guests. Our room was broken into and we were robbed in Dec 2006. They acted very nonchalant and even made us pay for the hotel stay when checking out. We have called the General Manager Leticia Munoz and written several... more

This hotel is in a great location with direct access to the beach. However the hotel itself is really old and run down. The elevator had a wierd smell through out our stay. Hotel hallways looked like hospital. The room was a good size with lots of windows, but the white walls now have a greyish tint. TV was black... more

Arrived for 2 nights mid April 07. I was told there was no parking, first come first serve (it was after 10 am). I parked car across street from hotel. Wife went to room and she was nearly crying when I arrived. No air conditioning that you could tell that was on. Wife continued to request another room, and had... more

We booked this because it was cheap and within walking distance of Lincoln, Ocean, shops, bars, clubs etc etc. After reading the reviews, we were expecting a TOTAL dive, so we were actually quite pleasantly surprised. Okay, it's a bit run down, but the lobby was pretty, our room was clean, the staff were friendly AND we got free coffee,... more

The guy's review before me was correct as far as "aging beauty." Certainly looks like it was pretty sweet in its day but they just decided to not care too much anymore. Ice machine happened to be broken and coincidentally the liquor store right next to us was selling ziploc bags of ice. Most of the front desk was extremely... more

I'm sure at one time the Traymore was a great property; now it's more like a faded beauty who hasn't aged well. The staff was very friendly and helpful but can't overcome all that is rundown and in disrepair. Each room comes with only one key which is a pain in the neck. Carpeting is filthy and the tablecloths at... more

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in Feb. 07. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. We arrived late Thur. night only to be told that our room key, (no scan cards) was lost and the janitor had to let us in. OK for 1 night, but we did not get a... more

We lost our luggage so we were glad that Lincoln drive shops and Maceys were very close. Bill the manager was excellent and helped us alot.
