I was hesitant to book this hotel, because I had read some mixed reviews, but was very glad I did. The inside of the hotel is absolutely beautiful; has this breezy tropical vibe. It also has a fabulous restaurant on premises and a great brunch. The pool is large and there are plenty of chairs, which isnt always the case.... more

My husband and I stayed 1-night on 06/08/09 in a Jr Suite on the 11th floor with ocean view. Abandoned hotels all around...next door & across the street. A hotel 2 doors down is having the exterior completely renovated so while you're at the pool/beach, there is a lot of heavy construction noise. Not relaxing! We booked this hotel because it was cheap but really nice looking online. Only stayed for 1 night during the week. Rooms were very nice, we had a great view of the ocean and the pool area. Stayed with my husband for a conference...the common areas of the the hotel are gorgeous! Great lobby and outdoor patios, great pool area and the patch of beach at the hotel were great (the hotel provides free lounges and umbrellas which is not the case with many hotels).
