Dear Hotel, housekeeping, restaurant management and staff, I would like to say thank you for the wonderful stay that I had experienced at your property. The room was amazing not only the size but also looks of it. My friends were very much impressed with the style. Front desk agents were amazing and very helpful. Charlie is a delight to... more

First of all, we got a steal deal from priceline by booking both airfare and hotel. The reviews, in my opinion, are rather harsh. This hotel is exceptional, you get what you pay for and it came with both pros and cons. The staff was extremely hospitable and courteous, we received vip passes to night clubs and discount cards to... more

I get a call one hour before check-in stating that my reservation was moved to the Metropole. I understand things happen and that overbooking is a risk, but come on, a little more advance notice would be appreciated. I will not be booking here again, and will discourage friends from staying here when they visit Miami. There are way too... more

This place isn't as bad as some of the reviews you just have to make sure you know what you should be gretting. After much deliberation before our oliday last year my boyfriend and I decided on th catalina as it looked quite fun and bright and was in our price bracket. Upon arrival we were allocated with the wrong... more

The hotel website makes this place look amazing, but sadly, I was let down. It looks more modern online than it is. If this hotel wants to keep the stark white appearance, then they'd better start painting! The carpeting needs to be replaced since it's pretty worn down. The downstairs pool area was cute with the cabanas, but they could... more

I can tell you that this place looked amazing in pictures, I was anxious to stay here. I booked on priceline for $65 and I can tell you for the first time ever booking from priceline, I was extremely angry! To me this is a converted dorm room building it was a dump to say the least. The check in... more

All these complain regarding this hotel are true. It looks nice outside, and then you get your key room and surprise! This hotel smells like wet dog perfumed with cheap cologne. It has its cleaning car 24x7 standing around the hallways, thin walls and tiny hallway to go trough your room’s door; which allows you to hear perfectly who is... more

I stayed here this summer with my wife and two teenage sons. The location is excellent and right in the art deco south beach. Inside the hotel itself it was dark, dingy, and run down. The sofa bed was broken in half, roaches running on the floor, and the funk of bug spray in the corridors. The resteraunt and bar... more

I have just returned from 9 nights at the Catalina Hotel South Beach Miami. What can i say...... The hotel was magnificent. I have never experienced such incredible, friendly service before with such a warm hospitality before. I had such an amazing time that it was hard to drag myself away to come home....... The Hotel was simply perfect for... more

We stayed here Labor Day weekend. If you like noise, bad customer service, dark rooms, thin walls, and a lot of attitude this is the place for you. The website makes it look chic and cool. It's more like a college dorm atmosphere. It's furnished cheaply and the service is really poor. more
