I had checked into The Tropics with 2 friends in a triple room. It was so disgusting I had to leave (but that is for another review). Was only there only one full day and had a great time. The room had a zen feel to it. The BED was so comfortable. I especially liked the Bamboo Garden and Pool area. The beach is right across the street and you get a voucher for two free beach chairs. I really enjoyed myself. I will definately be back. more

We love The Catalina! It's the perfect combination of hip, cool, relaxed and fun. It's right across the street from the beach and the beach amenities are great. The roof top pool is also great day or night. It's a short walk to shopping and restaurants on Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive, and surrounded by clubs if you want nightlife.... more
