Cheap and clean. The rooms are small but quite adequate. As for what most people are saying about a "mildew" small, you have to realize you are in an old art deco hotel in Miami Beach where the weather is warm 10 months of the year....you would smell that in an old 4 or 5 star hotel too!! As soon as you get in the lobby, you will notice the smell of mildew and it doesn't get any better as you get into your room. The carpet is dirty and it feels wet. Curtains are dirty and bedspread is nasty looking. Shower clogs up. I would not stay here and would not recommend this place to anyone. more

First of all, it smelled like mildew. The bathroom tiles had mildew on them and the shower had no water pressure. The facuets were rusty and about to break off. Was very satisfied with my stay from 5/10/09 - 5/20/09 at the Haddon Hall and would highly recommend this hotel to the budget traveler.
