We made the reservation at the last minute and couldn't be happier with our choice. We were greeted by Tamara who gave us a quick tour of the property. I stayed recently at the Captain's Inn in Mt. Dora, Florida. The Inn lacks adequate accommodations. It was not clean, it smelled like pet urine and mold. My room did have a private bath, but unfortunately no hot water. Also, breakfast was included with the cost of the room but wasn't provided. more

Quaint inn. Not like other bed and breakfast's I have stayed at. If you are a captain or sea lover, this is the place to be. Real laid back owners, not "stuffy". Tons of sea/captain decor.
