My wife and I stayed here as a stopover for a couple of days travelling from Key West to Disneyworld. It is a very pleasant hotel, well maintained and clean. What a great place! Lovely rooms, great pool with lovely pool towels, great breakfast, free parking. The only bad point was the volume of the air conditioning - very loud and right beside the couch in the seating area. Try the "Pewter Mug Inn" next door for food. The steaks were so good we ate there both nights we stayed! more

My family stayed here 2 nights recently after spending a few days on Fort Myers Beach. While I can't recommend the city of Naples to a family with young children, the hotel itself was very nice. You keep on having to remind yourself how little you've paid at this excellent hotel - the quality of the accommodation, services & staff are as good as those in the full blown Hilton hotels. After spending 2 'less-than-mediocre' days at the Hilton on Longboat Key, I was pleasantly surprised at this Doubletree. The staff were courteous, professional and extremely helpful.
