We stayed the second time at the Nuns and Roses. John and Dee have added a number of convenient upgrades in, including WIFI and full scale cooking and laundry, but the house and the garden around it stayed as lovely as they were the first time. We did bring our six children and still never ran out of space for... More

My husband and I stayed at Nuns and Roses with 2 other couples this Jan. 2012 for one week and found it very accommodating and clean. The house gives you plenty of space inside and out. John was very helpful to make sure we had everything we needed and we did. Nice yard to wander about and a lovely porch... More

I just called Nuns & Roses/Longboard Inn to get more information on holding my wedding reception at Nuns & Roses in June and I was told that they are no longer doing weddings or receptions.

Gorgeous property & perfect setting for great weekend for all! Fun rehearsal dinner at Londboard Inn and dream wedding at Nuns & Roses! We booked the entire property for the weekend for the bridal party. Everyone had a great time and all who stayed Friday & Saturday night loved their rooms and their yummy breakfasts. We celebrated a wedding in New Smyrna in May. We traveled from Indiana. It was such an easy drive. Two of the wedding guest couples stayed in the magnificient suites at Nuns and Roses. Not only are the suites spacious, they are beautifully theme decorated, incredibly clean, and have their own bathrooms. Nuns and Roses is used for many wedding... More

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. It's a great place to stay and the rooms are amazing. The suite had a hand painted bathroom with a claw foot tub. The bed was very comfortable. We basically had the whole upstairs and downstairs of the huge house to ourselves with our relatives across the hall. They delivered cheese,... More

We stayed at Nuns and Roses for two nights, from the 18th to 21st of July. What a wonderful find! We have been to New Smyrna before, and typically stay with family on the beach. We opted for something different this time, and are sure glad we did!! John and Dee, the owners of both The Longboard Inn and Nuns... More

We took a long weekend from the bustling Orlando area and found the Nuns and Roses to be quite charming and comfortable. We stayed in the Sahara Room which included a second room w/daybed, where our daughter stayed. Room was clean and decorated uniquely with a mix of modern and antique decor. We shared the Nuns & Roses with a... More
