My husband and I had a wonderful time at Tween Waters in 11/07 for our wedding. Friends and family absolutely loved it, as well as Captiva in general. We stayed in the Jasmine Cottage, next to the Marina, his family in the larger cottage behind us, and my parents at one of the cottages on the road. All three were... more

The Tweens is a beautiful hotel and my family did enjoy our stay but my husband and I were a little dissapointed. When we first checked in we were giving a pool side room with small kitchenette which was great when traveling with small children. That first morning we were awaken by the sound of construction. My husband was furious.... more

My wife and I visit Tween Waters Inn three or four times a year. The beaches are beautiful and the shelling is good. Love the pool as well and they are building a new expanded exercise facility and spa. Very little traffic on Captiva Island compared to Sanibel. One of the best parts of a trip to TWI is the... more

We just returned home from what started as a two night get-away. We loved it so much that we stayed on two more nights and are booking a stay again for next month & bringing my son and his girlfriend! We loved it. The staff are all so friendly and helpful just wonderful! By the next day the staff from... more

My wife and I vacation every 2 to 4 years and stay at Tween Waters on Captiva island. Over the years we have watched Tween Waters grow adding elevators and new buildings. We usually stay in what they call the Sea Grape, Palmetto, Gumbo Limbo and the cottages. Recently they offered a half price get away so we decided to... more

We just got back from a wonderful visit to the Tween Waters inn. We stayed in the "Sea Grape" building and had a room on the third floor which had a spectacular view of the ocean. My understanding is that the rooms in this building have been recently updated. They were attractive, clean and functional. We espescially enjoyed the kitchenette... more

Tween Waters is in a great location, and the smattering of colorfully-painted cottages and beautiful vegetation made for a pleasant visual experience. The room was clean enough and we forgave the presence of tiny ants in the kitchen and on the porch. However, most of the staff we encountered (front desk, bar, restaurant) had an indifferent to surly attitude. “This... more

We chose the Tween Waters Inn as a "less expensive" (relatively speaking) place to stay on Captiva. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice and would stay there again. The inn is located across the street from the beach and has a nice swimming pool of its own and easy parking under each unit. The staff was friendly and... more

Myself and two of my friends came to Captiva to celebrate my 40th birthday from Feb. 24 through March 1. I had previously stayed on Sanibel and decided to do something different this year. All I can say is that we loved Tween Waters and are already planning our trip back next year. The location is top notch (we stayed... more

Way overpriced for what you get. The staff is very nice but completely clueless about hospitality. While i sat in the lobby using the internet on their computer (because the wireless they promised never worked for me or for 6 other guests i met during our week stay) I heard numerous complaints about: noise, ants in kitchens, broken plumbing, broken... more
