Our 2nd trip here. Great location on the beach, but hotel has been allowed to go downhill. Rooms shabby. We stayed for three nights at the Ocean Palm. This was our first trip during the summer and the motel had lots of families. That's a first for our trips. This property opened in 1949 and was reportedly the first two-story motel in the United States. Cheap, very close to Haulover Beach, heated pool that is occasionally nude, ridiculously tight but free parking, and continental breakfast is included.
