We arrive late and were greeted by a very polite staff member who made us feel right at home. Rooms were great and beds very comfortable. Hotel is off the road so you hear no traffic. Just had a one night stay at this lovely hotel. The accomodating is excellent. Try get room 102 on ground floor lovely big modern room. The breakfast is included and has an excellent variety to choose from. Gym and Laundry facilities are provided. Avoid the Pizza Hut at the end of the parking lot food barely passable and staff terrible.... more
We were told hotel is about 1 1/2 years old. Looked even newer. Very pristine lobby and hallways. LOVED the new HIE bed system -- wonderful linens and great mattress. Towels were 'thick and thirsty'. I travel for my job and have stayed at this hotel about 8 times. It is the newest hotel in Okeechobee. Other options are mom-and-pop-type places (cement clock motels) and the Best Western.
