This is such a great place! My friend had her wedding there on Friday evening (July 18), and several guests stayed at the venue for the weekend. Staff: Friendly and extremely helpful. I broke a glass my first day there -- a little eager to start the complimentary wine -- and they sent someone over in less than 5 minutes... more

I booked the largest suite at the Dr. Phillips house for my glrlfriend and I's 2-year anniversary looking for a beautiful place to get away for a good price and a much-needed change from the corporate feel of the Hampton Inn suites we normally patronize. There was a small snafu on my part concerning the reservation (it was somehow made... more

I was in town for business and stayed at this property in the apartment style building. Overall I was disappointed with my room, but the property grew on me as my stay went on. The kitchen feature was nice, and the living room was large. The furniture was not clean as the couch was covered in white specks. I did... more

I joined my husband on a business trip later in the week, but didn't really want to stay at the sterile corporate hotel where he'd spent the week. I found the 'Courtyard' on www.bbonline.com and was intrigued. Our stay didn't disappoint. I was immediately charmed by the specially appointed room - hand-picked antiques and decoration - and the largeness and... more

Three Victorian homes, a former Art Deco apartment building, and two courtyards provide a taste of old Florida just a few blocks from downtown restaurants and shops. My visit was for both business and pleasure. The conference of 30+ people and presenters met from Friday to Sunday. I'm from Ohio so I extended my stay to enjoy time away from... more

Where to start...Well A warning perhaps seems best: Do not look at their website and expect to see anything like that during your actual stay. If that doesn't warn you enough let me elaborate. 1. Reservations: quick and easy online, but when you show up they are literally using a hodge podge of computer and hand written notes to keep... more

I’m very sorry you had a bad experience at our Inn. We strive to make each guests experience here a pleasant one. While we encourage guest reviews both good and bad, there are a few things in your thread that are inaccurate. I’ll go over the these in the order you posted them for reference: 1. “And a staff that...

We had to stay here for a wedding on a Saturday night. We booked our room through the hotel's website for Friday and Saturday nights. The location looked nice online and we were greatly disappointed when we arrived. The off ramp to I-4 is literally in the front yard of the Inn. To see the wonderful lake you have to... more

We stayed a weekend here recently (Fri and Sat night) as we were attending a wedding on Sat night. The "inn" has actually 4 separate buildings. We stayed in the Wellborn. We have a 2 year old daughter, and children are not welcome in any of the other buildings. I will state up front that this is NOT the place... more
