A roach crawled into my water glass on the night stand!!! Gross!!! Thank goodness the lights were still on. The Sheraton Safari is a very good hotel for families because of the location and very good pool area. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants. The rooms could use some updating, particularly the bathroom, but are still decent and have very comfortable beds. more

Having started our vacation on a sour note how sweet and refreshing it was to stay again at the Safari. Staff were first class and even the receptionist remebered us from previous years. We took our young grandsons to the Sheraton Sarfari and had a wonderful over night stay! The staff was very friendly and gave the boys coloring pages and crayons when we arrived. We LOVED our suite! This is a disgusting hotel. The rooms are dark, dated and filthy. I stuck to the carpet. The hallways are really nasty and the elevator is so old I was afraid it would breakdown. I was shocked at the disrepair and the outdated decor of the rooms. If you can afford to stay elsewhere, do it. more
