When we first saw the resort it was huge and very awesome. But after staying a few days (we were there 11 nights) we were very disappointed. Our room was not clean at all, I found slippers under the sink that we did not bring. Which made me believe that they did not even clean the room good before we... more

The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful hotel and in a great location. The transportation to the parks not so great. Going to MK is easy whether you do boat or bus. Epcot is at least 30mins due to picking up other hotels and Downtown Disney is about a 30-40min bus drive. I really considered driving our own vehicle...the buses were... more

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time in 1998. I remembered it being such a beautiful property, and it still is in the lobby and pool areas. However, the rooms are on par with a La Quinta at best, yet you must pay "deluxe property" prices. I would definitely not put the room quality on par with... more

OVERALL EXPERIENCE I stepped in from the heat of Orlando, Florida and found myself suddenly transported to a place where the land breathed freely, and log cabins dominated the prairies. Only when I looked around and saw the haggard, crazed Disney gleam in the bloodshot red eyes of the other visitors was I brought back to reality. This similar sensation... more

I'm slowly making it to each of the Disney Deluxe properties at WDW. As usual, this trip was with my wife and 2 year old twins. The rooms are almost identical in size, layout, and quality of similar rooms in the Polynesian and Animal Kingdom. The room has touches to make it feel "lodgy", like "carved" headboards with a wilderness... more

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge June 13-20 2009 with our family of 2 children (6 and 2). We had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel. ROOM & FACILITY As mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are a bit small, but for our family of four, was fine. There was a refrigerator in the room (which was convenient)... more

We booked a 5-day trip to Disney and stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. What a terrific place to stay. Excellent ambiance run by very friendly and helpful staff. If you book be sure to ask for a room with The Woods view. It's the back of the resort and faces the lake and the wooded area. This resort has an... more

We had the good fortune of staying at this hotel 6/13 through 6/20. While my family has stayed at many different resorts within Disney World this has definitely overtaken my previous favorite "Port Orleans Riverside". HOTEL--We had a very nice room up on the 6th floor overlooking the courtyard and Bay Lake, right next to the elevator located near the... more

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for four nights. We had a standard room with two queen beds. The room was clean. It had an alarm clock with an I-pod dock which was a surprise. The refrigerator does not have a freezer compartment. The size of the room was the only con. There is not a lot of space to... more
