After waiting over an hour just to board the DME bus from the airport, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the resort. Check-in was simple and we took a few minutes to get acquainted with the layout. Coronado Springs is pretty large and spread out around the "lagoon". We stayed in Casita building 5 (the farthest Casita building... More

The rooms are very small. A family of 5 would not be able to fit a roll away in the room to accommodate the extra person. the toilet/shower area you have to step in a space between the two to close the door, that's how small it is. There is a closet, but it's not enclosed. Maid service can come... More

If you go, I recommend booking direct with Disney. I booked with Orbitz, and even though Orbitz said it was "confirmed" and gave me a "hotel confirmation number", when I called Disney the night before I was to check in, they had no reservation listed for me. Even after I spent 4 hours on the phone on hold with different... More

We arrived after a frustrating time trying to find the Disney bus location at the airport and struggled with all our luggage as did not realize that room was so far away from front area (we arranged for golf cart to pick us up with luggage when we left). The room was adequate but not spacious and did not have... More

We decided to stay on site for the first time due to my son was starting the college program the following Monday. For those that are use to staying in timeshare resort, you might be a little disappointed in the moderate Disney resorts. We caught one of the discount deals for the season. I would definately only pay for a... More

My family (my parents, husband, 8 year-old daughter, and 5 year-old son) went on a big Disney vacation in September. We wanted to stay at a moderate resort, and Coronado Springs was the winner. The grounds are very extensive, but there are golf cart shuttles available. If the weather is nice, the walking isn't too bad. Our room was about... More

We booked 3 nights at this hotel, but checked out after 1 night to find another hotel. There was a long walk to the elevator, and an even longer walk to our car. To get from room to car took nearly 15 minutes. You need to drive to get to the restaurants. We ate at the Mexican restaurant which was... More

The Coronado Springs had one of the best-priced water view rooms in the Disney World complex. The resort is built around a large lake and contains about 2,000 rooms. It must require an army of gardeners to maintain the grounds. The Disney mystique is alive and well with the staff members as they were so pleasant and accommodating that our... More

The resort itself looked a lot nicer than any of the value resorts, but the rooms are identical to the ones in the value resorts, the furniture is probably a bit nicer. The only extra you get is the coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. We stayed for 2 nights only and when we checked in, there was... More

The Coronado Springs resort is a "medium" Disney resort in the parks area. We had a short conference there and stayed two nights. The rooms are excellent with nice linens, towels, and amenities. It has wireless internet. Staff is typical Disney; everyone goes out of their way to be helpful and looks to provide information. It is a sprawling property,... More
