Universal just aint Disney. We had a 2 night stay is a basic king room. There was nothing special about the place. the staff was curtious yet uninspired. Everything, as you would expect in Orlando, is designed to squeeze your wallet. They tried to rip us off for ~$25 worth of bogus honor bar charges (we didnt have the key).... more

Lobby and common areas are very nice. The rooms are way too small and outdated. The rooms belong in a 2 or 3 start hotel. This hotel offerd all that we required, from start to finish it was an excellent stay. Poll area was fantastic offering clean towels, sun tan lotion and magazines to read. iced water with lemons was always available, cold towels were offered most days to cool off. more

We went there this past weekend and wow!!! This hotel was GREAT!!! Loved the hotel, loved the room, we were treated very well and it's just a great place to stay. The Loews Royal Pacific is a beautiful hotel. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The rooms were nice, but small. And there are no balconies, so if your children want to go to sleep, you have no where to hang out. The water taxi to Universal and Islands of Adventure was really nice and made going to those parks... more
