We arrived and stayed the 6th thru the 12th The room we stayed in was in the 1970's We did not have magic bands yet were given each a card that we used to enter our room, parks and pool areas The laundry room takes "only a phone app" to do laundry which I did not know and that was not a comfortable payment method for me The cafeteria was fine for grab and go yet there are so many wonderful options in the parks for food that it is tempting to eat in the parks. Magic Kingdom had nothing open for breakfast and around 11 am things opened yet you needed advanced reservations with thier app. as they would not accept walk ins to eat. Food was so expensive that we were not keen on eating there. Snacks were packed in the next day. Animal Kingdom had wonderful choices to eat. We ate at the dine in Yak 'n' Yeti and the portions were huge and delicious. We were able to share a meal and walk away happy and stuffed. Pop Century had comfortable beds which measured 5 feet across with a bit more space between that expected. The sliding bathroom door was great as it had 2 and a person could use the toilet and tub with privacy and allow others to use the sink and storage around it awaiting thier turn. Feet are going to get a beating at Disney and 10 miles a day of walking is going to happen easily. Bring foot insoles for shoes and blister pad style bandages in case along with socks to double up inside sneakers for no rubbing points. We wore Hoka and new balance style sneakers and still had above issues. The skyliner line seemed so long yet it moves fast and we were at the parks with-in 15 minutes to 20 each time. Lovely ride where you get on and it takes you to Carribean where you transfer quickly to another one to go to Epcott or Hollywood Studios and then you go thru a line for security and another to swipe your card or magic band or phone app to enter. I carried a small cross body bag with essentials and it worked great. A fanny pack also works. It is hot so a fan with mister helped tremedously and ice in a cup is helpful. Stay hydrated as your walking in heat and dodging thru crowds all day. We went as early as we could muster and then around 2 p,m. we went easily back to Pop Century and took naps, ate, swam and around 4-5 we headed back and stayed till it closed and went on rides when others were eating dinner. We enjoyed eating with reservations we made at Sebastians Bistro for dinner. It was a set course style menu that we found delicious and it had vegetarian versions for anyone in your party that does not eat meat. We got there on the skyliner and got off at Carribean where we walked a 10 min stroll thru lighted sidewalks to a cute bar where we had a margarita and then went in to eat. It was around 40.00 each for a wonderful meal. Water is expensive 4-5 dollars for a bottle at Pop Century so many do a delivery to thier room for a case of water. You get those deliveries in the lobby and take them to your room. The rooms have a cooler style fridge that does not keep items frozen yet will keep them a bit chilled so are great for left over dinner items or drinks. If you are older bring pain relief for walking aches and pains. We brought excedrin for migranes which go us thru a few days as it has caffeine and kills the little aches that we experieced from rides and walking so much. The guest service is wonderful at Pop Century. Someone is always available in the lobby 24/7. They have massage chairs in the arcade that are a tad expensive to use yet one could find helpful. For Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom -guests go out the front doors of the lobby and get on a bus which seems to arrive very quickly every 5 min to load the people. I did not feel safe on a bus with an older driver who loaded up to many and barked at us to get on when we could see there was no true space to sit and barely any to stand. This same driver stopped ubruptly and a man holding a baby fell into another man yet everyone was ok. " due to quick reflexes!" I made sure not to get on his bus after that. If your not comfortable with getting on a bus that is overly full due insist on awaiting the next one as they come often. It takes around 15 minutes to reach a park on the buses. They are air conditioned which is a wonderful feeling after being in the hot sun. The pool was an after thought for us because they were always crowded with kids and teens so we did not use the pools. They seemed nice though and the main pool has a little bar called Petals that has drinks with a little bit of liquer in them. Our last day we noticed it was easier to go down the stairwell to get to the skyliner on the opposite side of our building rather than walk all the way around. The buildings have elevators in the middle of them if your carrying heavy items. Overall, they rooms are wonderful for saving time with the skyliners and seem safe. Do factor in long lines and heat when choosing a time to go.

December 2023 Holiday Epcot Family Trip Disney does an amazing job catering to guest with disabilities. We booked 2 rooms, 1 room with a roll in shower for a relative who has mobility issues. The room was located on the first floor in the 80s building. It was perfect. The room did not have the slanted door which regular rooms do, which gives the room a few feet of extra space. This really helps to provide the space for a scooter. The beds are at a normal height which made it comfortable for her to get in and out of it. No need to climb into it. She also had plenty of space to use her walker. Best part was the shower which had a built-in chair and all was within her reach. Disney overall does an exceptional job in making guest with a disability enjoy themselves and have a magical trip. January 2024 Epcot Solo Trip (Festival of the Arts) I had a room in the 80s building also. Super clean room and very comfortable. Love the spa like shower as it has a rain shower head and love the products. SKYLINER: This property is great as they are connected to the Skyliner which is a huge selling point for me. We get to Epcot or Hollywood Studios within a 20min ride. You have tons of dinning options as you can get off at any other Skyliner Resort and enjoy their dining options. PROPERTY: I love the over-the-top theming which is what Disney is about. Large Characters make great picture moments. Landscaping is beautiful. While on both trips, we saw painting, pressure cleaning, and cast members taking care of the property. This explains why its so beautiful and taken care of. There is a food court style for dinning which has standard type food. Hamburgers, pizza, pasta, etc. It is not terrible, but for those staying on a long-term stay, it might become boring. Use the Skyliner for other dining options. Overall, this is a great Disney Resort because of the Skyliner. If you can get a great deal, I would recommend it. Cast members are very friendly and really take pride in their work.

This was our first stay in a Disney Value resort, and we were impressed. We booked it because of the Skyliner access, which was a fast and fun way to get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Our family of five (grown kids) had adjoining rooms with 2 Queen beds in each. One of the beds is Murphy style but it was as comfortable as could be. Every detail, from charging ports to the bathroom layout (separate sink area with room for changing) was wonderfully thought out. We went Dec 25 for 4 nights, so it was very crowded, but well managed. Next time would try to get a room closer to the Skyliner. Would recommend!

We recently stayed at the Pop Century hotel. This was our first value hotel experience, we typically stay at a deluxe or moderate and we were very pleased. All of the workers aside for the baggage department go above and beyond. There is more magic at this resort than there is at the parks. There are so many activities for the kids including poolside trivia, tye die, camp fires, roasting marshmallows, smores, night time movies. We arrived early on our check in day and we asked if there was a room avail. They were able to get us in shortly after. We happened to arrive on Valentine’s Day and all of the characters were at the hotel and we got great photo opportunities. Our room was on the smaller side but it was fine since we did not spend much time there. The rooms were clean and the shower was very nice with two shower heads. We were there for a sporting event at the espn center. Everyone from that group were put in the 90’s section. We were building 8 and that happens to be the furthest from the lobby area. If you have a choice, I would pick something closer. The food court had many choices but it was extremely packed almost all of the time. If you are thinking of getting an early start at a park and eating breakfast come up with another plan because you will be waiting a while. We found out at the end of our stay that you can mobile order which does save a ton of time so I would recommend that. The skyliner is the most convenient form of transportation. Even if you see a long line it will move very quickly. Transportation by bus to magic kingdom and Disney springs was excellent as well. There were always multiple buses waiting and we never had to wait for more than 5 minutes. The baggage department was not super helpful. We had to walk our own bags all the way to building 8. We did take a walk over to art of animation and saw the baggage workers assisting families with their bags. This did not happen at pop. So that is really my only negative review. The cast members otherwise are all excellent from the front desk, to the lifeguards to the activity department. We would def consider picking this hotel again. I would choose this over art of animation because it is more compact and I like the theming better.

Room was clean and resort was fun. Took full advantage of the skylift to Epcot. Lines were very very long but overall a good experience. There was some issues in their cafe. A bit confusing to order and pay. Staff was amazing! Would recommend if going to Disney parks.

The hotel was typical Disney, clean and well organized (we’ve stayed there before). The Skyliner was a real bonus and felt like less time than the bus even if it wasn’t. At least you could sit and weren’t crammed belly to butt. My only complaint was the walls were thin -heard people talking next door and thumping overhead. And a bunch of teenagers were yelling and singing quite loudly at 10:30 at night outside three nights in a row and no employees seemed to try to calm that down.

Room was clean and nice except for very thin walls. Noise is a constant here. Skyliner is a plus and even though line is long in morning it moves fast. Food court is a mad house. By the time you pay for food it’s cold/ mobile ordering is better but also slow.

Second experience at this resort; the rooms are pretty standard for this level of resort. Hard surface floors, so no dirty carpet. Clean surfaces. No extra amenities in the rooms beyond the basics. We bring coffee and creamer as well as yogurt and basic snacks with the premise that we can go to Publix if needed. We enjoy the Skyliner, but you need to be aware that if the weather turns that there is a good chance the Skyliner will shut down for the storm, which means taking a bus, which if you in a herd of people in the same situation you will be in a line waiting. Plan according during the summer rainy season. We took Skyliner to dinner, leaving Epcot and headed to Caribbean beach to eat at Sebastians Bistro and a storm blew up that shut the skyliners down. We managed, but there would have been difficulties if we had little ones with us. Overall, we enjoyed Pop, and will go again.

I booked this holiday 16 months in advance and requested a certain room to be on ground floor. I chased this up a few days before with Disney and holiday company and said no issue. Yet when I arrived they threw me in the worst room possible for me. Luckily they changed me the day after, yet had a lot of hassles to come back at 2pm to change rooms. The hotel is now on a skyliner route which means no buses to Epcot or Hollywood studios. If you have a fear of heights the sign states do not ride, yet you have no other way of getting there. The skyliner is fast as you must change at another resort. First thing on a morning the queues can be long, but they do go quickly. The skyliner does not run in bad weather so the buses return. You do get some good views and rather a fast way back to the resorts if you in a hurry. The resort is good for families or solo travellers. It has something for everyone. A nice shop but food selection reduced from my previous trip. The staff are friendly. The rooms are large and have what you would need. There is a cooler which will keep milk fresh. Ask for a preferred room near lobby so as not far to walk on a night. Asked if alligators in the lake no since they removed them. Any turn up, they remove them too. Never seen snakes but are sign near water edges. There are movies under the stars which you could even watch from the pool. The hotel made up for the error with room and moved as quickly as possible. I did receive a gift as a token gesture.

Really loved our stay here . We came for a week during Christmas season and were worried how busy it would be . The resort was great . We had a 2nd floor room in block 10 which was a less than 5 minute walk to the skyliner or buses/food court . We used the skyliner a lot . Amazing way to get to Epcot and Hollywood . Often given our own pod which was great. Buses were also great - regular and friendly drivers . We were most impressed on New Year’s Eve when after the midnight fireworks , where we thought we would have a huge wait , the buses were lined up ready to take us back. Very impressed with the food court , we used for breakfast and evening - good range . Mobile order selection was good . Room was perfect , spotlessly clean and maid service every other day . Spacious for the two of us. The only downside of this whole resort is the extremely thin walls! Could hear our neighbours toilet, shower and alarms ! It didn’t really bother us but would expect the walls to be a bit better than that !
