I disagree with earlier postings - in walking distance is Taco Bell and Carrabas only. Nice bath and bed, and pool. Breakfast ok. But we wondered if staff was watching out for us or just watching us, kind of strange. Guess we prefer Hampton Inns. Better rate and newer. more

This hotel is near the intersection of I4 & the Turnpike. It is only a 5 minute drive to Universal's parking garage & a 20 minute drive to the Magic Kingdom lot. Great hotel on a great location close to Orlando Int Airport. Very good rooms, a free business center with internet computer, a very good breakfast. Nice staff, really nothing to complain about. Although close to airport, no noise. We recommend this hotel! more

stayed for 2 nights. hotel very clean and in good condition. front desk very efficient, friendly and helpful. breakfast included and perfectly adeqate to start teh day. the room had 2 large beds, free wi fi, safe etc. jacuzzi and gym open till late. very good rate compared to neighbouring hotels. also late night meal in the i hop restaurant... more

Just spent 4 nights at the Wingate Universal. Hotel and room was very clean. Close to Universal. Breakfast was available every morning from 6-10. For those people looking for a wider variety 24 Hour IHOP in next Parking Lot. Staff was very friendly and Helpful the front desk was attended everytime we entered or left.
