A beautiful park. Walked along the shoreline seeing lots of people fishing for Spanish mackerel. One area where families swim and sunbathe. Parking is close to swim area. Can get shuttle to shell island.

We were in PC Bch the last week of Feb & the 1st week of Mar. We went for a drive thru St. Andrew State Park (its only $8 for a carload) & wound up spending much of the day there. What a beautiful little park. Its not big, but it sits on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico... More

The beach and the camp ground are one of the best we have ever experienced...and we are local!! We prefer when it's a little more quiet, but we always love hitting St Andrews. We go many time to the beach in the summer and to the campground in our travel trailer anytime we have the chance. Don't miss it!!

We have to visit this park everytime we go to PCB. We always find something different. It is so peaceful. This is a great place to take family pictures and just relax. Everybody should visit this park at least once.

My husband and I stayed here the second week of September and had such a fun time! Bathrooms were always clean and well stocked. We rode our bikes everyday down to the pier to look at the dolphins and took our kayak out into the lagoon and bay everyday. the lagoon and bay beach was our favorite. The biting flies... More

This is the coolest place! Reasonable rentals and probably the best state park in the US ( for beaches) I also recommend Grayton Beach ( near PCB)The main draw is Shell Island for me- where the jetties are full of wild dolphins!

We enjoyed a lovely morning on the beach. Please note there are several boardwalks. If you want more peace and quiet use one that is further away from the picnic and store areas. The beach is lovely: I'm a bit partial to SC beaches. There can be patches of seaweed so look for a seaweed free area to swim. It... More

We have visited this state park on 2 separate vacations. It is a large park, so be sure to read the map and find all of the treasures inside! There is a great shallow bay-type area for young families, jetties, and then a large beach area. The boardwalk connects most of the beach areas, and they have a small store... More

Went here in May. The water was calm and clear. I couldn't find where the snorkeling was, but apparently there's snorkeling. A really nice beach. A nice change from the wavy ocean. There were also facilities there to buy goggle, sunscreen, and that sort of thing.
