Recently stayed at the Flamingo in the Tower. Have stayed there before. Has 2 queen beds in one room, one bath and sleeper in separate room. Staff was friendly. Was charged more than nightly rate than quoted but staff corrected on last day of stay. Dated hotel but room was fairly clean when arrived. Carpet is in need of cleaning.... more

Great stay...our saving grace for the long weekend after booking a motel online (Peeks Motel) and realizing it was a dump we were off to find another motel for around the same money as we booked the other motel....Thank Goodness we lucked up on The Flamingo...after telling the desk clerk of our dilemma she allowed us to view the room... more

Took pictures of damage to room upon checking in(burn holes in curtains and bed spread) when checking out they kept 40 of the deposit saying damage done to bed spread. we showed them the pictures taken and there response was " We don't know if that the same bed spread" Now I know how they update their decor. My wife & I just returned from a week's stay at the Flamingo & it was WONDERFUL, even though we had to deal with hurricane Ike, no really bad weather, just rough surf. My husband and I had visited the Flamingo in early August, we had a wonderful visit. The room was very clean, the housekeeper and the maintenance man were very nice.
