We traveled from Indiana with our two young children to stay at the Palmetto. The rooms are fairly basic, but have everything you'd need. Rooms were quite clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the mini-gift shop inside, it was a lifesaver for purchasing floaties for the kids! We also loved being able to purchase sno-cones in the lobby.... more

I would have to say that it was a really clean motel.Everything was so nice,the carpet was really clean.I would recommend this place !The only thing is,they need to make a walk way or something to cross over! more

I stayed here for three nights in June. Great location - right on the beach, and each room has a beach view. Nice pool/jacuzzi, picnic deck, and workout room. Best of all - no drunk fraternity boys! more

The rooms were cleans and so was the pool. The beach view was beautiful. The only complaint we had was the parking. The beachside only has about 10 parking places, which were always full. So we had to park across the street and "run between cars". It was very scary to cross the street, especially after dark, with young children.... more
