Pensacola Victorian is an interesting place to visit. The thing that makes this B&B great is the owner, Barbee. She is fascinating to sit down with and talk to. She worked with Jaque Cousteau and has worn many different hats throughout her life. As people that travel mainly through B&B's this one is o.k. and a good place to stay in Pensacola. You certainly couldn't hear the train nearly as bad here and our first night was great. However, we would have slept a lot better if one of the permanent residents would have not played video games until 2:00 in the morning for two nights in a row. We could hear everything and it was not as restfull as we would have liked. We stayed in the Suzanne room with two beds, if you get one of the other rooms, you will probably not have this problem. The house is in need of some repairs and we fully understood a leaky roof from hurricane Ivan. The rooms have extra window A/C units in case you would like it colder during the summer... more

This has taken me far too long to write but it's here now!

If you're in the Pensacola area and want a change from the beach then stay here! This is a charming and beautiful Victorian B&B with lovely rooms, great breakfasts and superb hospitality: Barbee was one of the friendliest people we've ever met on our travels.

Downtown pensacola has a lot of hidden pleasure so give it a whirl...
you won't be disappointed.
