Have stayed here several times over the years, but will not do it anymore. There is absolutely little to no maintenance. Broken and rotted out entry doors to the rooms have only been poorly patched instead of replaced. Rooms are dirty. Ceilings are starting to cave in. Our room had duct tape holding up ceiling tiles. Sliding doors are not... more

Avoid at all costs. If safety and your health are a concern, this is not the motel to stay in. Deplorable condition. Extensive water damage to walls and ceiling. Paneling was delaminating and opening up. Damaged paneling on walls at electrical outlet and degraded wall studs creating electrical hazard. Ceiling tiles heavily warped and some being held up by caulk... more

Was there this July. Hated it. Great view but thats all its got. Rooms very drab, dark paneling, paneling bucked, mold in bathroom, carpets dirty. You get the idea and I am not one of those ritzy place people but hated this place. Great view but its a shame they don't do some work on the place. The one good thing was the lady checking... more

Beware of this hotel! The rooms were seriously outdated...not to mention filthy. The linens were not changed out for our entire stay. There is no "working" swimming pool on property. The wireless internet was never fixed. Shall I go on? Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this nightmare. more

The next to worst hotel I have ever stayed at. On a scale of 1-10 I give this place a -10. They change the sheets every 3-4 days, the rooms are very outdated and need a lot of work. The pool is closed and has been for some time, but they don't tell you that until you arrive. I highly... more

Good location but in need of repair and updating. Bed headboard is a concrete block wall. Heater did not work; first unit had paper dials. Moved to a second room not much better. Continental breakfast very minimum. Pool was not in use. Paneling is warping and in poor shape, door offers minimum security. No place to hang clothes. Ice under... more

I gave this an above average rank because we got a phenomenal view, for less than half the price of a Holiday Inn! The hotel staff was perfect & helpful in every way. Our room did have some problems, like our sliding glass door didnt really open, the bathrooms arent sparkling clean, & the pillows are literally unsleepable. We had... more

Not 5 star...but if you are looking for a place to hang your hat....not so bad. My son and I were looking for a place to stay for the weekend. A friend stays there all the time. So we went for it. By far not the worst place I have stayed in and by far not the best either. The... more

I travel to St. Augustine every year for a week at the beach. We like to spend a day or two in town preferring to stay at a non chain establishment. I've seen this motel for years but most often booked across the bridge in town. As St. Augustine has grown in popularity so have the room rates. I opted... more

I Never thought to bring shower shoes, nor have I ever had to wear shower shoes in a shower. But the Achorage Inn, if you have reservations, you may want to consider bringing some! There were 3 of us and when we woke in the morning, we had no hot water to shower in. I called management and they did... more
