My friends and I stayed at the pirate haus hotel for our spring break. The location was perfect, we walked every where-even across the bridge (ha!). The staff and even the guests were so friendly. Capt Conrad really made us feel like we were at home and knew all the best restaurants. The only negative about our stay was that... more

What room were you in? I'll have a look at the shower head. If the pressure was low it could be due everyone showering at once in the AM. But we do appreciate your business, if you have any other concerns please let us know so we can take appropriate action. Cheers, Good luck with the studies! Da Cap'n

My son and I were down for a homeschooling trip. We had the jungle room. It was very large and very comfortable. The bed slept better than my own does. The location was awesome. With a green train ticket we really did not need to even USE our vehicle while we were there, although we drive to the beach one... more

Aye, we do indeed have a great location, walking distance to St. George/the Bayfront/the Plaza, and unfortunately half a dozen bars... so the rooms on the street can get noisy on Friday/Saturday nights. We do have free earplugs for those sensitive or planning an early evening. The rooms on the non-street side are however quieter... Thanks for choosing us!

The Pirate Haus Inn was a new and fun experience for our family of five. Conrad and the staff were really helpful and laid back. The kids loved the living room and homey feel of the place. The only downfall for us was the parking, but it all worked out. We would definitely go back. more

My wife and I stayed for nights in St. Augustine for spring break with four of our friends, and we chose the Pirate Haus because we were aiming for a cheap vaction to get out of Ohio weather. We were all Ok with a dorm style room if it came at $20 a night and included warm weather and a... more

Aye, thank ye for yer kind words. And Brandon thanks ye as well. Glad that the Pirate Haus was able to compensate for bad weather. We usually do try to arrange for good weather for our guests, but globally there's only so much good weather about and St. Augustine is not always at the top of the list. Thanks for...

Conrad and crew (bunch of pirates if you ask me, but that's a good thing here) are all about personality. It reflects in the hostel. It's a favorite among Floridians and young American hostelers. It DEAD in the center of old town St. Augustine, which has turned into a major tourist trap... oops.. sorry.. meant tourist spot. There are plenty... more

My husband and I just got back from a weekend trip to St. Augustine for my birthday. I found this place a joy to stay at..... Everyone was so nice and friendly. This is the closest that I've gotten to European hospitality in the states. These people take pride in their little inn. And it shows. When you strip the... more

Quite a convenient location -- smack-dab in the interesting section of town. Wiggy digs -- our room was like sleeping in a tropical aquarium . And umm, those pirate pancakes of Conrad's. We always stay here when we're passing through. more

Well, this was my first time not staying at some chain motel/hotel, so I was a little skeptical at first. My boyfriend and I arrived and checked in and found that the workers were nice, and different, and also allowed to have personality(Conrad is very nice too)! How convienent. The jungle room had a beautiful mural and a great clipping... more
