the hotel was just fine, clean, had a friendly staff. we only heard the train once. while not in the center of the historic part of st augustine, it was a short drive. you could walk, just have to cross a busy street, then walk several blocks. the pool was nice and clean, the bottom is just stained. all in... more

Place is ok, I think it's a bit overpriced for this hotel. We checked in were given an end unit room non smoking. Started to load inside and realized it had an awfull sewer smell. I think it was coming up frm the shower drain. So we got a different room in the back with the swam and railroad view.... more

This hotel was in a great location, only a short walk to the Old Town Trolley Tours main office and information centre. The Pool was great for our two children. Our room was a good size and breakfast was included. The staff were friendly and helpful. more

The room was clean the staff was amazing. The pool was cool and hot tub was amazing after a long day walking around the town. We enjoyed our visit to St Augustine. Stayed one night and three trains went by. Room was standard double. A bit worn. Nice continental breakfast. Get room in front as highway traffic will probably not disturb you as much as the trains going by in back. Stayed at a Super 8 in Fayetteville the prior night for two thirds the price which was much nicer. more

Great place to stay!! Looks like they had just redone our room. New tile in the walk in shower & bathroom, new carpet, good TV. and outstanding breakfast! We stayed in the handicapped room #226. Pet friendly!! I asked for a fridge and they brought us a fridge and microwave! Not much room to walk dog in the back though.... more
