I found the Alden to be a nice place for the price, however it's no hilton but to be that close to the beach with a suite for the lower price was nice more

My first time to St Pete Beach and was glad I found this resort. Perfect location on the beach which seemed right in the heart of the area. I was able to walk to several different casual bars and restaurants. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and always eager to assist with any questions. Definitely will return! more

We have travelled to St. Pete beach on 7 different occasions but never stayed in a gulf side hotel until our last visit in May '09. Chose the Alden based on reviews, price etc but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Location is great, hotel is basic enough but the complete lack of sound proofing between floors completely ruined our week.... more

The room was redone, the location to the beach was great. A great family resort. Many restaurants within walking distance. The only complaint which is nothing is the elevators are really slow. Also, no music at Tiki Bar but great drinks. more
