My wife and I came in to stay the night and go out in St. Petersburg. We chose La Veranda due to the fact that we could bring our dog (a black lab). I staid in the Garden Room which was at once large, cozy and comfortable. Nancy, the owner was very accommodating. La Veranda is conveniently located downtown and more reasonable priced than others in the neighborhood. If I spend time in St. petersburg again, this will be definitely my choice. more

I have stayed twice at La Verandah, once in October, 2005 and once in March, 2006. Both times I found my roon at La Verandah to be a clean and comfortable; the location convenient to all of downtown St. Petersburg and the rates reasonable. Some places just remind you of another era and happier times...This is just such a place...the best rest I have ever had...the bed and atmosphere were very laid back and comfortable...Nancy runs the place...and makes you feel at home.
