The reason they collect your money upfront is because they know you may change your mind once you spend a night there. We were in the efficiency room, which was very cramped. My wife and I stayed in Unit #9 right next to the swimming pool. Very cute and quaint, white walls, wicker, etc.. The property is very quiet, the staff was very accomodating/friendly, and all of the guests that we interacted with were extremely pleasant, and obviously enjoying their time just as much as we did. My wife was able to salvage our weekend getaway when the first place we were supposed to stay turned out to be a dump. My wife found the Beachview Cottages the next day and was able to get us in. The staff was very nice, and most of all we paid a very reasonable fee to bring our dog Leo.... more
