We, my partner and I, stayed at the Cypress for three nights in June. We had a great time, despite not so great weather. The Inn and it's hosts, Vicky, Nina, Becky, and... were friendly and welcoming. The room, Martha Rose, was lovely. The region has much to offer. When we return, we would stay here again!

Near perfection in bed and breakfasts from the charming room to the gourmet morning breakfast served on china and and silver flatware. Ideal downtown local with a view of the bay. If you like antiques and old fashion charm then The cypress is for you. Be sure to check ou the beautiful Botanical Gardens within waling distance if the inn.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the cypress. We hadn't intended visiting sarasota but it was a nice surprise to our florida road trip. The rooms are excellent and spotless clean with wonderful comfy mattresses made for a great nights sleep.
