Located on the quieter South end of Siesta Key we chose the Banana Bay Club for that "tropical, beachy resort" feeling and boy we sure got that. We stayed in the Sand Dollar Cottage, although not free standing it is still like a cottage inside. The mexican tile floors were clean and the furniture was pretty new. There was a... more

Nestled on a quiet residential street is this quaint little resort called Banana Bay. We checked in late and they provide self check-in. Everything was as shown in the picture (except the bedspread! good thing!) Coffee was provode for the first day, and we were able to get more the next day. The beach was very quiet and secluded, water... more

I chose this place somewhat randomly and at the very last minute. I was torn between this place and another close to Siesta Village. I was very pleased with my decision. We went to Siesta Village at night and it was really fun, but I wouldn't want to deal with all the noise. As advertised, we were only 100 yards... more

I just got back from staying at the Banana Bay Club on Siesta Key. We had such a beautiful suite by the pool, I couldn't believe it! From the outside the place looks like old Key West Style Bungalows (which I love) but inside our place looked brand new with a big comfortable bed and one of a kind Tropical... more

Stayed in the Tropical Apt. (Beachside) 5/12-15. This is the quieter, south end of the key. Good time of year to visit if you don't want crowds (place was practically deserted). Very laid-back place (apt key waiting, taped to office door when we arrived, staff never bothered us but came daily for chores). Beautiful soft-sand beach is a short walk... more

I stayed for one Friday night, and used the room on the lagoon to propose to my fiance. Needless to say, she said "yes" and we had an amazing time. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. Great location, great room and a great time! more

We were a party of 4 and we stayed at the Banana Bay club - waterside for a week in the Bay Breeze house. It was the most relaxing week spent by the poolside we've had in a really long time. Really great. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel really welcome. The... more
