It is beautiful, relaxing. Kids on bikes, playing board games, sleeping by the springs. The canoe run was 4 hours with a lot of ducking, using branches to pull canoe around very sharp corners with lots of low trees. The kids really enjoyed running the back of the canoe into tree branches. Water was low and we "bottomed" out a... more

Juniper Spring, located inside the Ocala National Forest, has plenty to do. The campsites on the outside of the loops are fairly secluded while the sites on the interior of the loop tend to back into each other. The shower houses are very clean with hot water. The Florida Trail runs through JSRA, but if you prefer shorter walks there... more
