The reviews almost scared me away but Stuart was very crowded and I didn't have much choice except for the very expensive places. I was very surprised by the Suburban Extended Stay. This hotel is very sketchy. Unless you are a contractor/construction worker, this is NOT your hotel. I was apprehensive about this hotel when I read the other reviews, but since they were old reviews I called the hotel. A guy named John told me that the hotel was under new ownership and management and that they now offered what he called Deluxe rooms. Most people who stay don't have a problem but be cautious as this is a place where people coming in for short-term construction type jobs stay and drug users go. Ranks as the worst place I have stayed. Flight delayed and arrived at 2:06 am. Too late! They close the office at 2 am and no one to answer a bell located near the door.
