The Lily Pad was definitely okay for the money. It's a small, 3-story place with probably no more than 30 rooms. Don't expect the Trump Towers, but if you're on a budget...it's not a bad choice. I too was a little hesitant because I couldn't find any reviews about it. But it turned out to be a good location north of the crowds and club atmosphere. The covered parking was nice, the location was convenient to Publix, CVS, the Bal Harbor Shops, and dining which meant we never had to move our car except for sight-seeing. We were across the street from the beach but had great beach access. We were disappointed there was no pool though. The room was clean and maid service was always prompt when we needed something. Our room had a small balcony that faced the street. That was both good and bad.
