Relatiely close to the airport. Not much else I can say. Rooms are large and clean. Only one restaurant which is at the high end of service, cousine and cost. Oh! forget about the breakfast. You do not have to use the valet parking as the hotel carpark (free) is next door. more

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Tampa after reading some of the reviews. I could not believe when I walked in the room what the reality was. First the humidity and sweat smell is impossible in the rooms (we had two rooms). Then the bedding is dated. With a stench. The very small old fashion TV was not a... more

While the main building itself was certainly fine (could probably use a bit of an upgrade to meet Hyatt's lofty standards), the service was quite good. I stayed in a Casita which had an entirely different vibe than the main hotel, and since I was basically "disappearing" for three days (high stress job), I didn't want the busy nature of... more

A nice hotel. Took shuttle from airport to hotel. No delay and quick service. Online I requested two beds, when I checked into room, it was a king bed. Went downstairs to change. Done without hesitation and comment (we booked through priceline). Room was beautiful. Had two large picture windows overlooking the bay. AC worked really well. Beds were comfortable.... more

We stayed on the Hyatt at the end of a Florida and Bahamas vacation. We were flying out of Tampa the next day and wanted to be near the airport. We checked in late in the evening (around 11pm). We had reserved a room with a king bed as my husband is very tall. Upon check-in we were told they... more

We had a small family Reunion in Tampa and decided to stay at the Grand Hyatt. We have always loved staying at Hyatt Hotels (primarliy due to the great bedding) and we were glad to see that this was no exception. What made the trip was the service we experinced during our Sunday buffet. The staff truely went out of... more

I was very glad I paid $59 through a site and not the $200 rack rate as I would have been very unhappy. It has the stuffy feel and the people all over opening doors for you. But the rooms are a bit old. Would think it would have a flat screen. Many chips around the room and most light... more

Finaly stayed here for one night at the end of August. We arrived earlier than expected but reservation desk booked us straight in & let us go to the two ajoining rooms straight away. Only on 3rd floor but views across the bay were amazing. Went down to the pool for a swim & cocktails afterwards again service excellent. Evening... more

We stayed for two nights at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay as part of a Florida West Coast staycation. We got into Tampa (by car) late, and just in time for rush hour. Finding the hotel was absolutely nerve-racking. Even my GPS got totally confused and got caught in an infinite loop trying to find where to go! After traversing... more
