We stayed at The South Beach Resort for four nights and couldn't have been more happy. We usually stay at Marriott resorts but found this resort to be very nice indeed. This is the second year we have stayed at the South Beach, and have not been disappointed yet. The front desk staff (Tracy) was always pleasant and greeted us throughout our stay. The condo's themselves are very well furnished; the ones I have been in are all nautical themed. They are spacious, and allow just enough room to spread out.... more

We were orginally booked for room 202 on the second floor. The room was nice, but the view was of the palm trees and not really the beach. We flew in and got there about 4:45, and when we got to our room, my husband said he'd rather have room higher up. So I told him to go back down... more

We arrived, walked into our unit, and everyone in our group wanted to move in and never leave. Even though am a native Floridian, I prefer to vacation at Treasure Island. We FINALLY found the perfect hotel to do so now. All appliances are full size (including washer/dryer). We were plesantly surprised upon arrival. This condo-hotel is a great location, with resturants and shops within walking distance. While the furnishing are a bit old, the condo was clean.
