Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were gifted a Red letter day voucher so we used it on our anniversary at this beautiful hotel where our daughter had her gorgeous wedding reception almost 8 years ago ❤️ The hotel staff are smart, professional & helpful. The food was delicious. The rooms are small and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. The only thing we have to say is its definitely a little run down, there are areas that have long passed their sell by dates. The marble (or was it marble effect?) around the basin in the bathroom was awful! Patchy water scaley stains just at the place where hygiene is paramount! - not a good look. the bottom of the bathroom doors looked like they had rising damp the wood had blown an peeling paint. and who on earth chose those nasty LOUD carpets? Time to spend some serious money on this very worthy building 👷‍♂️ 👷‍♀️ and keep it looking beautiful! Other than that we had a really lovely time. Thank you

Highly recommended for business events. I went to the hotel to lead a business workshop and it could not have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful at every level, right up to the General Manager. The facilities were spot on and the room had real character. When I had a tech issue the team worked quickly to support me. I was impressed by the quality of the food both at dinner and lunch, and the chance to walk in the lovely grounds in breaks made the whole event very successful.

Due to incoherent pricing at nearby Premier Inn we decided to ignore the poor reviews at Hunton Park. Check in was quick and easy, the room wasn’t large but very clean and well equipped and the bathroom was as good as any we’ve stayed in - even in much higher rated places. Bed was very comfortable. Didn’t use restaurant as visiting family. Noted refurbishment work. Will definitely stay again.

Going to be a long one Me and my friend stayed here back in December as we were visiting Harry Potter studio. When we first arrived we got dropped off as what we thought was the main door but we got dropped off at the back door. So we walked thought the hotel the find the Check in. We was a little early but we got in are room. Can’t fault are room it was great lots off space just what we need for the 1 night. We thought we would have some lunch before going off site. Well trying to get bar staff attention was interesting as there was not where to been seen. we had 2 pizzas well there was disappointing. The hotel main areas looked like there could have done with some tlc. Someone also let the fair alam off with simply having a hot shower. We got locked out off are hotel room twice as we didn’t get told when checking in if we put are keycard by are mobile phones the key card will deactivate. We had booked breakfast it was better then are meal from the day before. Also wanted to add the people who was staying across the hall from us was also smoking weed

Dear Anna S Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. Customer feedback is important to us as we use it to measure our strengths and weaknesses, we are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay recently. We are investing heavily into the property and since you stayed with us in December we have already changed the carpets, changed the hotel bedroom doors including new locks and next week will be commencing decorating the corridors. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your pizzas and have recently asked the chef to look into a new supplier for these as there has been a couple of comments. I am glad you enjoyed breakfast. We are sorry that aspects of your stay failed to meet your expectations and that we failed to provided good value for money. Overall we wish you had a more positive experience whilst being our guest. Kind regards Hunton Park Hotel Customer Service Team

Don't stay here. Myself and my partner booked a reservation with Hunton Park Hotel as we also had a booking with Warner Bros Studio Tours, so seemed a no brainer to stay there, espcially given the photographs of the place (it's not the part you actually stay in). Our intentions were to finish our day out by making use of the swimming pool and restaurant.  First of all, we are very shocked at the fact the swimming facilities are even open to the public. The roof falling in, the damp, the smell, the mould.... it's safe to say that we were strongly against using this and are quite disgusted actually. Secondly, although the food in the restaurant was ok, it took an awful long time to come out. Ceaser salad with no ceaser sauce, dry chicken and what tasted like gone off anchovies. Fries with no parmersan and chicken wings with no hot sauce and instead blue cheese sauce that we declined when ordering. We paid the bill regardless.  A few issues with the room, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall, there was no body wash in the shower cubicle, and we had to have the heating on all night as the corridors were that cold. For a reservation of £120, and spending £40 in the restaurant, we are massively disappointed. Mainly because of the swimming pool to be honest, again we don't know how it's acceptable with facilities like that to be open. We addressed these concerns via email to the area manager and requested a refund, understandably we did not get what we paid for and its not the level of service we expected to receive. Hald of our email got ignored and no refund given.

What a beautiful drive leading up to this hotel and a fantastic location if you are going to Warner Bros studios! I stayed with my 12 year old daughter. Our room offered all the facilities you would expect. We viewed the recently refurbished Manor House rooms and WOW they are stunning!! This hotel is evidently undergoing extensive refurbishment which is clearly a work in progress. The bits they have already done are beautiful - I look forward to seeing the completed product! The food, staff and whole feel of the hotel could really not be faulted though
