I must begin this review by stating that I generally consider Florida a wasteland of moldy, badly decorated, sub-standard accomodations that spend nine months of the year slowly recovering from the previous spring break. We visit Vero Beach frequently during the year and have learned to expect little from this area. IMAGINE OUR SURPRISE when we found the Vero Beach... more

Here is the skinny...the hotel facility itself is beautifully done. Pool, gym, locker rooms, hotel rooms. Dont expect anyone to wait on you however, as the service is spotty at best. Views are OK, although I can see how someone would expect a clearer view of the ocean for a "ocean view" room. Palm trees or neighboring bldgs blocked some... more

on checking in we were charged an extra $20.00 per day "resort fee", (for "towels, chairs, newspaper, wireless internet and other items" ) which also cause a sales tax and occupany tax to be charged. we were also required to agree to a 50% charge if we left early (does this happen that often ????) this was not a 1... more

We enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel while visiting friends in the area. Hotel is very pleasing to the eye, nice entrance, valet parking, small checkin area, nicely layed out private common areas, beautifully decorated rooms, pool area topnotch, gym, and a dining facility. Did not have alot of time in hotel but did enjoy breakfast in the morning outside on the terrace. Thought prices were... more

We arrived at the hotel at 1 AM and the front desk man appeared to be in a different world. It took some time for him to realize I was checking in. It has been downhill ever since. It became a joke to see what would next. The rooms they call junior suites are "small" hotel rooms. The one Bedrooms... more

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor regarding the Vero Beach Hotel and Club, I decided on this destination for our little weekend getaway. Tired of the gulf coast, I wanted something on the Atlantic and not too far from home. Vero Beach is very low key, not much night life, beautiful beaches though, nice and relaxing. This hotel is by... more

Jo Bayley and Peter Serena are terrible to work with. Never plan a wedding or event at the Vero Beach Hotel & Club. The hotel is beautiful although the hotel did not invest in good people. We had a nightmare trying to plan our wedding here. We are very reasonable people and this is strictly a function of the Vero... more

Check the rates before you check in. I am a travel agent and booked my clients in a 2 bedroom, ocean front suite and requested an upper floor. After the arrived they talked to the front desk after discovering that other guests were paying much less that they were. The front desk was unresponsive. When they called me, I called... more

While staying at Disney's Vero Beach, we stopped by this hotel to have a bite at the pool grille and to check out the new hotel. It is has all the charm of a boutique hotel and is decorated in the West Indies fashion. The pool area is beautiful and it sits up high, so there is a great view... more

Stayed here for two nights with my husband in a partial oceanview suite. Gorgeous rooms with upscale furnishings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location on the beach can not be beat. We arrived very early 11:45 am and went to have lunch at The Lemon Tree which was recommended when I inquired at the front desk. This is were the... more
