When I made this reservation at the Knight's Inn toll free # I was told that it was "recently renovated." If by "recently renovated" you mean "shoddy and unkempt" then, yes it was. There was raw spackling covering big holes in the walls, carpet and bedspread with stains and holes, a crumbling ceiling above the shower (I literally had sheetrock crumbles in my wet hair when I got out of the shower), tub fixtures that were not attached securely, a leak that kept the bathroom floor flooded, a bathroom door that wouldn't close and was covered with greasy handprints and a long list of other unacceptable issues. This was a two-building location that was purchased by a Non-American group, one building was cannibalized to 'renovate' the other, and then razed.
