While traveliong to Atlanta for a concert we pulled off at exit 290 I75 for gas and the transmission went out on the vehicle. My husband and friend asked what do we do now and I saw a Day's Inn across the street I had remembered as a child staying at various Day's Inns and always having a pleasent experiance. So as we checked in we had no problem we got adjoining rooms like we asked for and i told the service clerk we would need a late check out because of car trouble she said no problem. Well we go in the room and the ceiling was flacking off (I'm talking 1/2 the popcorn stuff was GONE) the exaust vent was covered in crud my friends room had a pizza in the fridge left for who knows how long and as she got into bed a Christmas ornament hook got caught in her foot as this was FEBUARY!! We said nothing it was cold rainy and we just wanted to get to the concert we had another car delivered and returned after the concert.
