Our daughter got married near Pura Vida and we were SO blessed to have found this wonderful place to stay as well as to hold our Rehearsal dinner. The staff are so kind and patient. they worked great under pressure, serving our every need with a smile . The HUGE out door hot tub was a blessing to me as... more

About an hour north of Atlanta, it was so easy to drive to Pura Vida for the weekend. Our package was so affordable and it included free dinners, bfast, 2 free spa treatments, free yoga, hiking trails, large tile jacuzzi, and amazing view. The B&B was also close to several vinyards for wine tasting. The staff was very friendly and... more

I stayed for a long weekend for a friend's wedding and enjoyed it tremendously. Of course I would have enjoyed just about anywhere with the company I was in, but Pura Vida was quite nice. The setting is beautiful. The hot tub is awesome. We had yoga each morning which was a nice way to start the day. The staff... more

We stayed in one of the cabins which was nicer than I expected having been warned by friends that rooms are pretty bare bones, however the bare floors were VERY dirty, I had to wash my feet before bed and the shower was litterally almost painful! There was a bottle of wine in the room but no note indicating the... more

Recently I created my first retreat. Finding the right place - with the massive amounts of unknowns kept me away from doing this daunting task for years. Until I found Pura Vida USA. They made all the problems go away and walked me through each step with kindness that I could not imagine! And the space itself ... ! The... more

I had the pleasure of leading my third yoga retreat at Pura Vida this past weekend. My group of 41 took up the entire wellness center. All of us were so very pleased with the kindness and genourisity of the manager and her fabulous staff. They could not do enough for us. ..from offering to pick us up anything we... more

Pura Vida is in a great location and has the makings of a great B&B, hotel, yoga camp, or spa. But, it needs to decide which it wants to be. Right now, it’s closer to a summer camp for yoga lovers. Since yoga to us is an activity, not a lifestyle, we were not impressed. We were looking for a... more

My husband and I went away for a long weekend to celebrate his birthday and it was wonderful. We left the laptops behind and were happy to see there was NO TV in our room. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. They even planned a special surprise with me for his birthday dinner. The spa treatment was great. The... more

Simple accomodations for a wellness resort/B&B. Stayed in the farmhouse. The room was plain. 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king. Beds were hard. No bath tub. Breakfast was good and offered healthy selection. Grounds are beautiful. Would liked to have taken opportunity to use the facilities. Need to spend more than one night to appreciate. Great location... more

The location of the hotel couldn't have been more beautiful, but there were certain amenities that were lacking. The first thing you notice when you drive up is the giant sign posted on the deck overlooking the lake "No Fishing Due to Stolen Pump." Who cares why there's no fishing. It's almost like they are accusing everyone who steps foot... more
