One of the worst experiences we've had in a hotel/motel. The room was infested with cockroaches!!!! I hardly slept worrying about what else might be present in the room. We should have packed up and gone elsewhere, but were both to tired to go any further. Looking back on it, we would have been better off sleeping in the car.

The Darien GA Super 8 is a perfect example of franchising gone negligent. The place was filthy, not vacuumed or swept, plaster missing in bathrooms, toilets in several rooms ran all night, the tv didn't work and neither did the microwave. Management's excuse was that they don't have enough customers to afford to make the place acceptable.
