We have stayed here several times. There is a 1 BR cottage in the back we rented for 2 weeks inbetween moves. We have also stayed in the large suite downstairs in the main home. It has it own side entrace, which is handy if you have a dog with you. Small grass park across the street. Beautiful salt water pool and patio terrace. Ren and Judy are wonderful host and will make your stay enjoyable. It's about 4 blocks from the Decatur square where there are lots of good restaurants and some places to shop. Perfectly safe to walk around after dark if you use common sense. There is also a grocery less than 1 mile away and the DeKalb Farmers market is just a couple of miles away. If you want to go to downtown Atlanta or to a Braves game, the Marta station is an easy walk. more
