I recently stayed here for 5 nights, and since it was a Holiday Inn I didn't really expect much. My room was fairly large and nicely decorated, and the shower was fabulous (the water pressure/shower head). The breakfast buffet had everything you could think of, including freshly made omelets and waffles, and was very good. The gym is pretty decent... more

We do have a great location, just blocks from the Decatur MARTA station; the train is a convenient way to see Atlanta and the surrounding areas. (but everything you could want is right here in Decatur from quaint shops to unique restaurants and wine bars) We also do have a staff the truly cares about providing a home-away-from-home for our...

Room was comfortable enough for overnight stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was small. Only con was parking garage had extremely small spaces. Parking was $7/nt and very crowded later in the evening. I saw several large SUVs exit because there was no room. Overall hotel is a good value. more

We hope you continue to stay at the Holiday Inn Decatur. I hate that we have no more room to expand our parking facility. The hotel, itself, does not own the parking but rather utilizes the parking deck owned by the City of Decatur. The city hopes to upgrade that facility over the next two years. I am glad you...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Decatur Conference Center for three nights while visiting family in the area. The hotel is noticeably older but in relatively good condition so I didn't know quite what to expect. Upon check-in, it was clear that the hotel is very clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. We were going... more

Our Holiday Inn (along with all Holiday Inns) are switching to Bath and Bodyworks amenities. It is the coconut lime scent! If ever your travels bring you back to Decatur, please simply request a room with a microwave and refrigerator; we do have them available.

I was really impressed with this Holiday Inn. The lobby is very nice and pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful. My room was roomy and very clean. It had brand new carpet and a very comfortable bed. The free wifi internet was a great perk, even if it was a little slow. HELPFUL TIP-Many of the room's windows face... more

The Holiday Inn has made many improvements, including guest room carpet, this summer. There are many great restaurants and bars within walking distance to the hotel in addition to Twain's: The Brick Store, Cafe Lily, Cakes & Ale, and Feast. We truly appreciate the feedback.

I read reviews religiously before I book a room in any city. The reviews for this hotel were overall good, and most importantly, didn't involve bed bugs (which seems to be a rarity in the Atlanta area). So, to reflect on some reviews I've read: Yes, there is some damage to the elevators. It looks like perhaps they were struck... more

The Holiday Inn Decatur did replace carpet in our guestrooms over the last month. We also updated walls and vinyl in the corridors, meeting rooms and guest rooms. We are excited about additional upcoming renovations. We have also replaced the wood panels in our elevator so it looks like new, now! Unfortunately, our hotel does not own any parking so...

The best thing I can say about this hotel is its location. You can walk to anything in downtown Decatur, or walk to Marta and let it whisk you away to other parts of Atlanta. Our room was dark - one of the light bulbs went out during our stay (which was 6 days) and was never replaced but even... more

Greetings from Decatur! We appreciate feedback in regard to our rooms overlooking the atrium lobby. They tend to seem dark (nothing can replace natural sunlight) but it was already in our plans to add additional lighting. This will happen over the next few weeks. We are starting renovations in two days. The renovation process will continue over the next year....

I visited this facility in February and my stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very attentive to all of my needs. I called the front desk because I was out of regular coffee and the gentleman at the desk informed me that he would have some more brought up to me as soon as possible. Within five minutes... more

This was the ideal locations for my family. The area has lots of shopping and resturant and it was walking distance to the public transit system. The indoor pool kept the children entertained and the front desk staff was very pleasant and accommadating to my husband whom was very needed doing our stay. more

Generally, I had a pleasant stay, though there were some annoying facts. Stayed there for a month, things were OK. Location: Situated in Decatur which was very cute and had restaurants ($10-15), cafes, coffee shops, boutique shops, telecommunication shops, and bars in a walking distance (1-3 blocks). Though it was in the heart of everything, the hotel itself was not... more

Thank you for your feedback! Due to your comments, we have made a few changes. We are adding about 20 new cable channels that will be "live" in the next two months. This will offer our guests a more extensive channel line-up. We have increased the water temperature in our in-door heated pool to 86 degrees. This will be more...

We stayed here the weekend after Christmas and paid $50 a night via Priceline Negotiator. There were not many guests in the hotel. The location is awesome because there are wonderful bars and restaurants in walking distance. I'm a picky person and I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room and very pleased with the staff. One night we... more

Thank you for staying with us in Decemeber. I am happy to announce that construction next to the hotel is complete. The hotel does not actually own the parking garage next to the hotel so there will continue to be a charge. For this, I am sorry. You are always welcome to utilize "street parking" especially on the weekends.
