Our worst B&B experience. We had booked for five nights, but left after one. As requested, we phoned about 30 minutes prior to our arrival and were told their credit card machine was broken and we would have to go to an ATM machine next door for cash. We doubt they have a credit card account. The web site grossly misrepresented the accommodations, grounds, house and food. The yard had not been tended to in years and there were no gardens or plantings. The house needs a lot of work. Despite assurances by e-mail that they had wi-fi, they didn't and we have to have internet service for our business. The water has a high iron content, smelled and wasn't potable (they gave us bottled water). The house is chock fulll of Victorian antique furniture but not tastefully appointed. more
