My wife & I just stayed at the Village Inn for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. WHAT A DISASTER!!! I would not recommend this inn to anyone. This was a very big disappointment for us. My wife and I stayed at the Village Inn for our 1st anniversary. It is a beautiful place, full of history. Walking distance from downtown, and Stone Mountain park. The owner was extremely pleasant, and a wonderful cook. We stayed in the "Rhett Room". I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. more

This is a lovely place to stay if you appreciate great home cooking and beautiful rooms with comfortable furnishings. It is in an historic home built before the Civil War complete with an alleged ghost in residence (I didn't see him tho!). This is a nice place to stay if you are looking for romance. I recommend staying in a room with a fireplace and bathtub for two. The blue room is very nice. The lady who runs the place offered us the largest room on the third floor for the same price, but we chose to stay on the second floor.... more

The Village Inn is a wonderful spot - clean and comfortable rooms with great little touches - and so much history. The house served as a Confederate hospital during the Civil War and is the oldest structure in Stone Mountain Village. It's great to lay in bed in the morning and think about all the lives the house as touched.... more
