First, you must be respectful of another culture to truly appreciate this family owned & run establishment. You must also be mindful that with Hinduism, family comes first so always be aware that you are only their guest in their hotel & not expect to be embraced as part of the family as other cultures may do. But with patience, you will find that there is so much more to experience here. Upon arrival, I was disappointed that they had closed their pool & almost didn't book my room, but I was road weary so gave it a second thought. I found the young owner to resemble Gandhi both in appearance & temperment. His peaceful, quiet, compassionate demeanor was comforting. I stayed. I felt safe, protected & appreciated as his guest. The next morning I first met his Mother, then his Father. That's when I had the ah-ha moment that it was a family owned business, and they too lived there. The sense of family surrounded me.
